This isn’t microblading—it’s ombré.

Ombré brows, also called microshading, are a less invasive, longer lasting brow tattoo that looks like makeup. They can be soft, medium or bold.

Pain is an average 3 out of 10. This procedure is suitable for most skin types and lasts about 1-3 years depending on your skin type, aftercare and lifestyle.

Ombré brows are a two-step process. A touch-up should be scheduled starting 6 weeks after your initial procedure. Annual touch-ups may be required to maintain color.

If you have any previous brow work done at any time, you will need a correction/cover-up. Not all cases are accepted. You may need removal if your tattoo is not at least 70% faded.

  • Yes, although it’s a less invasive one. Pigment is inserted into the skin with a small needle. It’s more shallow than a traditional tattoo, it’s so designed to fade over time.

The pigment contains standard ingredients found in cosmetics.

  • Consultations are not required ahead of time, as I consult with every client in the studio the day of the service. However, if you have many questions or potential contraindications, I strongly suggest you book one here. The fee goes toward your appointment if you decide to book within 30 days.

If you book an appointment without a consultation, I assume you’re ready to proceed with the service and have no major concerns that would prevent you from receiving it.

  • It depends. For best results, we have to follow the natural shape as much as possible. We cannot make drastic changes to the shape (i.e., making a very flat arch much higher). Rest assured that you will approve the shape before tattooing begins!

  • After your first touch-up, you will typically wait at least one year to receive another one. It’s ideal to let some pigment fade first before we continue to add more.

To protect the integrity of your skin, I do not allow multiple touch-ups throughout the year for small areas of pigment loss.

  • I work on the softer side to ensure the pigment remains flattering in the skin. If you like a very dark, dramatic, saturated look with solid (not faded) fronts, I am not the artist for you. ❤️

  • I would keep a brow pencil to add small amounts of color to areas that may be lighter after healing. This is normal. However, you most likely will not need to fill in the entire brow, as that can appear muddy.
